The house is spacious, with 4 bedrooms - 2 for frequent guests from around the world (mostly Canadians). A large stone wood-burning fireplace and doors into the garden from the living room. A recently redone kitchen with red tile floor, washing machine and dishwasher, fully stocked with kitchen utensils. Antique wood furniture throughout.

This is a very beautiful place for a very good price- but a bit remote. I will commute by walking and train every day into Oxford, walk through the fields about 30 minutes and frequent trains take a little under 20 minutes. I am female 27 yrs old, working on my DPhil at the Oriental Institute at Oxford university, and my partner will frequently visit from London. I can send photos to those interested.

This property is NOT in Oxford city - but the website forces me to choose a location though Charlbury, the nearest town, is not listed.

Let from september to April only. It will be a merry winter around the fire!
