We currently have two double rooms available (one room large enough for a couple) in a clean, well-presented and newly refurbished house centrally located in Leicester.
The house comprises 5 fully furnished double bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom), a living room, a kitchen/diner and a downstairs bathroom with a separate W/C. Three of us are moving in on 1st July (1 Masters Student and 2 Postgraduates) and we are looking to fill two more double bedrooms. Ideally we would like people who are friendly, clean and respectful, and preferably Postgraduates, Masters Students, Mature Students, or young professionals.
The house is a beautiful Victorian Grade II Listed terrace, situated approximately 25 minutes’ walk from the City Centre, The University of Leicester, De Montfort University, and Leicester Train Station. Both the Tiger’s and the Walker’s stadiums are within a 15 minute walk of the house, as well as a large Morrisons supermarket. A post office, corner shop, chemist and bank are less than 10 minutes’ walk away.
The house is brimming with character, with many refurbished original features such as fireplaces and exposed beams. Presently, the entire property is being fully redecorated and fitted out with all new furniture including beds, mattresses, sofas and wardrobes. It has a modern kitchen/diner fitted with all necessary appliances, and includes a new large fridge freezer, 5-ring gas hob with oven, dishwasher, and washing machine. The downstairs bathroom has a brand new shower, and a separate WC. The living room will comprise three new 2-seater sofas and a flat screen wall-mounted LCD TV by 1st July 2012.
The house will have unlimited Virgin Optical Broadband and TV, full gas central heating, with radiators in all rooms, and plenty of free street parking on side roads.
As refurbishment is still underway, the pictures shown are of the house before redecorating. The house will be fully decorated and furnished by 1st July 2012, with neutral warm colours and wooden furniture. The floor plan is not to scale, but gives a good idea of the location of rooms and their sizes.
Rent is dependent on room choice, however prices are £65 - £70 per week, or for a couple who want to share a room £112 per week. Bills are not included.
