From 1st September 2013, I'll have a room going spare in my flat in Balham. It's a large double room in a massive flat which feels like a house it's on two floors. It's a two bed flat and so it's just me you'll be living with!
It's literally 2 minutes to the tube - such a good location. Next door to Balham Bowls Club, opposite Waitrose and round the corner from the Sainsbury's. Here's the spec -
- Internet
- Sky TV
- Separate toilet
- Large bathroom
- Very large kitchen
- Massive lounge with big flat screen TV
- Private back garden
- Washing machine
- Lambeth has the lowest council tax in London!
ABOUT ME - I'm very friendly, chilled out, can be pretty quiet, love cooking and watching movies. I'm half Thai and I'm an actor and I like to sing in the shower. I'm clean and tidy and like to keep the flat that way. I do have momentary lapses as I'm only human! Not a massive drinker but like the odd glass of red with dinner and a film. I'm gay but don't make a song and dance about it. I'm a musician as well so will practise the guitar or piano sometimes. I like my privacy just as much as the next guy so totally know when to give each other space. I have a wide range of interests and like to experience and learn new things.
ABOUT YOU - I'm looking for a friendly, quietish, clean and tidy housemate. I'm open to any race, creed, religion, sexuality. If you speak another language, I would love to learn a new bit of lingo! People with wide and varied interests is cool - art, music, botany, history. Please be reliable, responsible and respectful - not a party flat - bringing a load of mates back at the early hours would not be appreciated! Food and film fanatics jump to the front of the queue.
LOCATION - The flat is in a great area of Balham, just off the high road, above a Chinese takeaway and next door to the Balham Bowls Club which is a great vintage pub where they do great Sunday lunches. On the other side there's a Be At One bar which can get pretty noisy on a Friday night but it hasn't been too much of a problem so far. There a loads of coffee shops in Balham as well as a TK Maxx, Boots, Holland & Barratts, As Nature Intended, Pizza Express.. it goes on. It's on the Northern Line and it's also an overground station, so getting to Clapham Common and then to Victoria, Waterloo etc is very easy. Great links.
Rent is £675 a month not including bills. Winkworths who let the property want references (I can send you the form) and guarantors (if needed) as well as a deposit and admin fee.
